Get to know us better

At RHNS, we start our introduction to the school with a virtual tour via Zoom. The tour lasts approximately 40 minutes and offers a unique perspective of the school, from First Step through our fours program. The virtual tour is offered one-on-one, so there is plenty of opportunity to ask questions and clarify how we can meet your family's needs. Virtual tours begin in mid-September and can be scheduled starting September 15th.

You are also invited to attend our open house on Wednesday, October 8, at 6:30 PM at First Step (395 Round Hill Road). You will tour the First Step facility and meet parents whose children are currently enrolled. More information to come mid-September.

Enrollment

Enrollment for the First Step (2s) takes place in October/November via invitation. We begin reviewing applications for First Step (2s) in August, and the deadline for submission is October 31, 2025. Invitations to enroll in First Step are sent out on November 15, 2025, with a deadline to commit of November 25, 2025. Priority is given to siblings of current families. Any additional placements will come from the waitlist of new families.

Enrollment for Upper School (3s & 4s) commences in December when our currently enrolled families are invited to re-enroll for the next school year. The deadline for submission of an application is December 31, 2025. Invitations to enroll are sent out on January 15, 2026, with a commitment deadline of January 31, 2026. Any additional placements will come from the waitlist of applications received for new families.

If you are a new family and have not seen the school please ensure that you schedule a visit to better understand our school and program.

A child's placement is based on availability and is for the school year. Children are not moved from classroom to classroom during the year. RHNS admits children of any ability, race, creed, family status, ability to pay, and national origin.

The application fee is non-refundable and does not apply to tuition. Deposits are non-refundable and applied to Spring semester tuition. The deposit is forfeited if a family elects to withdraw from the program. The first 30 days of enrollment shall be a trial period for either party to terminate the enrollment contract. After 30 days, please refer to the withdrawal policy.
